Yes, they're kidding-actually, if you live in the US, we sell Gulf Coast 
sand by the pound which makes a much better ballast than the Canadian 
Rocks.  Those rocks tend to roll around the bilge, whereas the sand can 
be molded into any shape and will pretty much stay put.  Our sand also 
comes in a mud-brown color so it's easy to color co-ordinate with your 
other gear.

Prices are very competitive!
