The best bentshaft paddle I have seen is made by AT Paddles. Their whitewater paddle is used by many many experts, and I am pretty much addicted to mine. They now make a sea kayak paddle with a longer shaft and smaller blade -- rex Roberton has a prototype, which I really really liked for the three minutes that Rex let it out of his hands. I still prefer a Greenland paddle, but if I had a lot of money to blow on a paddle, I would get an AT paddle. I think Alder Creek in Portland sells them (www.aldercreek.com).
