[Paddlewise] PFDs Revisited

   I'm glad in a way that this topic has resurfaced since I was converted 
to wearing one full-time after the last round of discourse on the 
subject. I must say however that there are times when I question the 
necessity of full-time use. They are hard to sleep in. There are food 
stains all over my lotus now since I have to sit so far from the dinner 
table. My wife has remarked that there are occassions when the thing 
really does tend to get in the way. I'm thinking seriously of going back 
to wearing it only when I'm in the kayaks.....
