I used to have a 20 foot high speed boat, 175 hp motor, was a blast I thought [other than having to buy a fuel company] then I got tired of it and sold it[ best thing I did] I started looking for something else...criterias...QUIET, no fuel thus no motor...can be used by myself or 2 [ this way I can pick up hitchickers]...a sailing rig to boot would be the cat's ass... Following week i was in Calgary [Alberta canada] and stepped into the klepper dealer...fell in love with the double [arius II] ...dreams started rolling in like mad... Could ot help myself and went and bought it...loaded... The I read "A boat in our luggage" Maria Coffee...And the floodgate was opened... Next thing I knew I was off to Viet Nam for one heck of an adventure... The adventures are still going strong since then [ Singapore, Sulawesi, Bali, Phillipines and many visits to Viet Nam] It's all been a blast... After a while I started thinking about a smaller boat to play with ...surfing ...daytripping... So now I have built the guillemeot S & G 17'...between these 2 boats I get to do whatever I want in the water. I think that staring out with any boat is greatr,'cause you get started...it does not take a long time to adjust and find out what you really want, and to get a 2nd yak, maybe a 3rd...and on and on... The boat will make dreams, btut he dreams will alter the boat need and help do away with all the spare space in the yard/garage quite fast... M. Winters...do sell the house, get that boat, tell me where you are starting at and which direction you are a' goin...if you see a klepper paddling at you, it'll be me trying to get on with you ... If I can't catch you...have a blast... If dreams were not followed up on, most of my life's work so far would not of happened...where the heck would I be now...working 9 to 5 like the rest...no thanx... This fellowwho wants to buy a touring boat...once he has it, the reality will get him and he will be out looking for a playboat quite fast enough...and he will enjoy them both... have fun 48 days to go...
