Speaking of service, how often should ballast rocks be brought in for maintanence? I have noticed some rocks looking pretty beat-up after only a century or two in the water. Can you suggest anything to reduce this problem? I know an occasional roll will eliminate the moss, but this can be hard to do with the rocks installed. Do you have any other suggestions?
