[Paddlewise] trail conference

I was unable to attend the national watertrail Trails Conference in West
Virginia over the last weekend.

It would be helpful to the rest of us if anyone who attended would share
their thoughts about the meeting and the present/future state of water
trails.  As far as I know there is no detailed listing of all the water
trails in the US and Canada with a thumbnail description of each and
where to get more detailed info or guidebooks to individual trails.  I
have never seen the trail guide that Dave Getschell wrote but perhaps it
has such detailed information as well as being a guide to how to create
such trails.
