I got a pair of 3M Sealskinz socks for snowplay. I tried them with my neoprene booties on my last trip and it made them warmer much less clammy. When I got on land to camp I used them with my hiking boots (sandals are too wobbly for me, but these would work great with them w/ or w/o a cloth sock beneath) when the weather went bad.
