Dear Friends, I am sure some of you have the popular Yakima roof racks. I have found some industrial strength thing-a-ma-bobs that look like they will clamp on the cross rods. What I need to know is the exact diameter and/or circumference of the rods. If anyone has these and it is convenient, could you measure them in millimeters either the diameter or circumference (preferrably both) and email them to me. I know of nobody that has these racks near where I live and the nearest dealer is 86 miles away. I have looked on their website and it is not listed. I would really appreciate the effort and would be forever endebted to you for this information. My caliper measures the outside diameter of the yakima crossrod as 1.125", aka 1 1/8", aka 28.58 mm. Standard disclaimer applies.
