     I would add one thing. Never hook a dolphin while trolling from 
a kayak. It's a fairly awesome experience. After nearly being 
capsized by flipper, my dolphin was kind enough to release me.

And, likewise, I hooked a harbor seal once -- bottom fishing!  I had to
cut the line, 'cause he would not let go.  Don't know if he was going
for a hooked fish, or if it was just an accidental snag.

Seals are very strong swimmers.
