Ah the shark topic. I had an encounter with small sharks that Local fisherman call dog fish. I was in kayak fishing mode and paddled over to a feeding ball (a tightly bunched group of bait fish being dive bomb by a hovering cloud of Sea gullies). I expected to find salmon but the ball of bait fish was surrounded by a frenzied school of small sharks. As I drifted in the bottom the kayak was repeatedly hit by the darting sharks. Although I was not in danger I found this unpleasant. The fiberglass hull seemed vary thin.
