Since I began paddling a Feathercraft K1, the Storm has become the guest boat and everyone that I've put in it has liked it (beginners and non-beginners alike). It has a well designed and sturdy rudder with very easy to use rigging. The hull is quite sleek, particularly for a molded boat, but still has the volume for extended camping and tall paddlers (up to 6'3"). If you are not a large person, you might want to look elsewhere as you will be bouncing around inside the roomy cockpit.
