Speaking of 2 cents, how much do the saddles cost? I use very dense foam cut to fit my Thule racks by a local outfitter (Trailhead in Ottawa) at about Cdn $16 per set. It provides a great firm/flexible "saddle" for my kayak. I then use Thule over-the-side ratchet straps to hold the kayak onto the foam/racks, with front and back straps. Works great..... *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Nov 25 1998 - 16:00:49 PST
