I had some incredible trips last summer -- fodder to get me through the winter gloom. [Despite a wet paddle today and a couple dozen swans, my appetite for paddling is unsated.] Who's got plans for next summer? Only 7 months away! Think I might head back to the Charlottes -- got a bunch of the outer parts of the east coast of Moresby Island I have not touched yet. Not gonna hit the popular spots. Wouldn't be prudent ... as George says. Did not get to the west coast of Vancouver Island *at all* last summer. Got some places there to visit, too. Kyuquot Sound is one. Never been there, yet. Also want to return to the Nuchatlitz/Esperanza Inlet area -- stymied the one visit I made there. Might hit Lake Owyhee (near the OR/ID border -- in welded tuff country) in early June for a hot weather fix -- need one of those after the Oregon coast's wet spring!
