[Paddlewise] Winter Wind

Not that I plan on paddling in sever winter weather, but what do you wear to
protect your face from the winter wind?  Those Polish face mask things,
bachalavas or whatever?

For those of us with young, soft, delicate (baby butt) skin, continuous cold
wind on the face can be pretty painful.  If you use those face mask
thingees, what material/thickness?  If not, what do you use?  It would be
nice, if venturing out in windy weather, to be able to breathe and see.
