List price is about $80 US for a set, including straps. Still are good, but I'd have to agree with an earlier response that the <new> Thule saddles look really good. Seems like they have a leg up on the old Yaks, which are great but take a lot of work to set up to get good, solid support on a hull. My 2 cents on the Roof Rack thread ...... For the last two years or so I've used cradles made by Kayak Carrier Systems, and would highly recommend them. I think that these are probably the most commonly used cradles in the UK. Very tough, very secure (I have absolutely no qualms about high motorway speeds, they don't need bow or stern lines). These cradles hold boats on their sides so you can easily fit four boats onto one car, and they fit just about any rack or bar system. No removal of bars necessary for 5 minute cradle swap between either the car fitted with Thule bars, or the generic rain gutter bars on my ultimate paddling vehicle - 1978 Devon conversion 2L Bay Window VW Camper. Might as well add my 2 cents. I've had good luck using Yak TLC saddles in conjunction with the the Thule Outrigger to aid loading/unloading on my SUV. The only negative is that the outrigger seems to have increased wind noise.
