All, I had a number of direct queries on Meteorology For Mariners. Julie and others responded with the details needed to track the book down. Thanks. It sounds like it is out of print but it was standard text for every Maritime Academy into the early 80's. Many former cadets probably have it. If you know any Merchant Marine officer dudes or dudettes it is worth asking to borrow. Tom

I can see why the authors escape you, there aren't any specific authors listed on the catalog records for the book. On OCLC (international database used by libraries for cataloging, etc) the latest edition I could find was a 3rd ed. published in 1978. Here at the Linda Hall Library, we have the 2nd ed from 1967. I'm going to have to check it out :) To help you out if you get requests, the ISBN (international standard book number) for the 3rd ed is 0114003114. There are only 37 libraries that own it listed on OCLC. If you need help locating a copy, let me know.
