[Paddlewise] Folding Double recommendations

Hello,

I have just joined Paddlewise, so if my topic has been addressed recently,
please excuse the redundancy and let me know where I can obtain a copy of the
discussion.  If you answered my similar message from rec.boats.paddle a few
weeks ago, you've already been of great help (I've left that board in search
of greener pastures).

My wife and I are researching folding doubles and welcome any thoughts or
recommendations.  We are looking for quality and seaworthiness over economy.
Neither of us are large paddlers, but we do like to camp, sometimes for
extended periods, without being too Spartan.  I've read Ralph Diaz' excellent
book on the subject and asked him a few questions.  I am leaning toward either
the Grand Raid or the Aerius II, but haven't made any decision yet.  We are
afraid the Raid II might not have the required carrying capacity but also
don't want too large a boat for comfortable and fun paddling.  Unfortunately,
I know of no one in the area (Western Michigan) that either owns or sells any
of the boats, so have no experience with them.
