I am another of the veterans and injured combatants of the S____S wars over on WaveLength. It seemed that the "discussions" would go on endlessly and it also encouraged posters to be exceptionally rude. I took as much as I could but finally decided that I was wasting my time trying to sort out the signal from the annoying noise. I left Wavelength with a goodbye to those members of the on-line community that I enjoyed reading. Several months later I got an e-mail from Jackie suggesting that I give Paddlewise a try. I did and it's everything that Wavelength should have been. Jackie has done a terrific job. Sometimes it still amazes me when I download my messages in the evening and I've got between 50 and 70, most from Paddlewise. I've concluded that 90% of the messages must get composed at work rather than at home. Anyway, not only have I learned a lot about paddling, I've learned how to scan a message really fast. Thanks, Jackie, and also to all the others who share so much with the rest of us.
