At that temperature you must have a Greenlanders attitude to swimming. "If you
exit your boat you die."

 My hands become useless for holding or grasping any thing vary quickly in 50
to 60 degree ocean temperature. So I switched to gloves from Pogies. At F 32.5
I think I would ware both!
Try doing a self rescue or assisted rescue with bare hands!
