I did this each Sunday for a year. Get your Sea kayak in the pool early.
Practice in a white water boat does not cut it. You need to practice in the
boat you will be paddling. Sometimes its a good idea to put on all your
paddling gear. Remember you are the biggest boat in the pool. 
White water boaters revert to basic tribal instincts when in a group. They
make loud noises and grunt a lot. If they get the chance the white water
paddlers will take-up more then their share of the pool, by zooming about,
racing from one end of the pool to the other and doing "End -O's". They also
like to raft up in the middle of the deep end and gossip.
