We played Ultimate in many a meadow (which come to think of it is probably
at odds with the "Leave no trace" philosophy), but our games came to a halt
after one of our crew twisted his ankle on the uneven ground in the Head of
Dean meadow. He had to be evacuated to Health Lodge, but fortunately was
able to rejoin us two nights later at Aspen Springs. So Frisbees in the
back country can cause injuries that take crew members off the trail,
robbing them of some of their Philmont experience. >>

Folks, I am generally a liberal minded person, but taking Hacks and frizzs to
Philmont is a no brainer. You have no brain if that is what you paid to do or
if that is teh "edge" you live on. To be a volunteer to accompany a crew of
racus whatever, no thank you!

There is a time and a place fro everything, almost! Philmont is neither the
time or the place for that at all.

This just goes to show that some of our leaders fail even before they arrive.

These crews obviously have way too much time on their hands and a much too
soft itenerary.

Give me a break! Hacky at home!
