Greg
Thank you for your efforts, and Dana too. I visited the ANorAK website and I liked what they have to offer. I will be subscribing to the magazine and buying the
video of the Delmarva Paddlers Retreat.
Also of interest in regards to Greenland technique; the ACA will soon be certifying
their instructors in Greenland Style Paddling.
Thanks again,
Richard M.

Does anyone know who and how is the ACA going to come up with its
Greenland style endorsment?

Is the Greenland style endorsement going to span everything from
forward stroke, to the 30 types of rolls, portages, and rope gymnastics?

Are John Heath, Chris Cunningham, Bob Boucher, and VanDerek (? the guy
who made the Greenland paddling video), going to be involved?
Is Malikiaq Padilla going to consult with the ACA?

In a recent talk with an Instructor Trainer we agreed that Greenland
style is only good for teaching to intermediate paddlers.
Does anyone want to comment on this?

cheers,

- Julio

One of the members of our local paddling club is active at
the national ACA level. She has been prodding my wife and
me for what we would like to see included in the endorsement.
As somewhat newbie paddlers we are definitly the best source
for guidance.

I don't how far they have gotten with the specifics of the
endorsement, but I will try to find out.

If folks on the list want to share their thoughts I would be
glad to pass them on...(as long as this doesn't turn into a
big brew-ha-ha about instruction/certification in general :-)
