Jerry ******************************************************************* What I know about Gronseth's style is mainly that it uses lift more than drag for both bracing and the forward stroke, and thus is probably closer to Maligiaq Padilla's style than is Van Doren's, which uses drag more than lift. Most of what I know about his technique I got from an old article in Sea Kayaker, which touched on it only briefly and confusingly, and from Jennifer Joy, who took a class from him this year. Maybe Jennifer or Kevin Whilden could tell us more.
