I've heard that some places in Alaska can be excellent. Long point breaks with perfect waves, and literally zero crowds. Of course, this is a summer-only vacation - you will want to bring a drysuit, but we in the northwest hardly blink an eye at that requirement, especially if it means good uncrowded surf. You might ask George Gronseth for more info on locations, since he was up there last summer and is the source of my information: kayak_at_halcyon.com ___________________ / Kevin Whilden \ |Dept. of Geosciences \___ |University of Washington \ |kwhilden_at_u.washington.edu| \________________________/ On Fri, 8 Jan 1999, SurfBuff wrote: > I want to take a vacation in some part of the world, where there are surf kayaks available for rent and where there is good surf for kayak surfing. Does any one know of anywhere? I'm interesting in any part of the world.
