Besides, some new solution may come up to an old problem. My own solution with the Gore-Tex drysuit was to have a local diving shop attach booties as used in diving drysuits. Durable, allows you to wade ashore in deep water without wet feet. The amount of insulation can be varied from liner socks to heavy fleece or wool socks. These boots would not be good in a boat with a very low deck. As an aside, I also had the shop replace the latex wrist and neck seals with far more durable neoprene seals. I'd also highly recommend the relief zip option, a special order from Kokotat - ask your retailer. Cheers, Philip T.
