RE: [Paddlewise] vacation in April

April is a great month in Florida. It's usually dry and warm and sea
temperatures should be in the high 70s. If you want to stay at a hotel on
the beach where you can launch your boat, the Seagate in Delray Beach is
ideal. There is a rental operation on the beach that rents Sea kayaks, wind
surfers and surf boats. You can walk to into down where there's lots of
beach bars, boutiques and excellent restaurants.

You are also 20 minutes from the Loxahatchee reserve, a 5 mile canoe trail
in the Everglades and an hour or less from the Loxahatchee River, a Florida
river where 1/2 of the 9 mile run is through the canopy.

You are 2 hours from Everglades City and Ten Thousand Islands.
