I found a 'beaner in a dive shop that had a slide-lock to keep the 'beaner
from opening.  You have to pull down a collar to open the 'beaner.  I've
also seen one that has a screw-lock.  Since aluminum corrodes so readily, I
reasoned that the slide-lock was less maintenance.  I discared the
"clip-type" 'beaner.
