Hi everyone! I'll try to keep this short. I started volunteer work at the hospital in the computer division-on the "Y2K" project on a variety of computers using Win31, Win95, Win98, and NT... Thank heavens I have recovered enough to manage this :) I finally got to the right person at the Sec of States' office and it seems that they lost my Dr.s' certificate. My license is and has been, valid this entire time... But... I must bring in my truck for a drivers exam come the 18th... [of...FEBRUARY!:)] Clearly I must get insurance and plates for my truck within a few days! :) I received many supportive letters from people who "populate" this list and I will always be grateful for their responses. I have also found two paddlers who may be interested in paddling with me... One from the list! That is WONDERFUL!!!! It is on this list that I found out about Nigel Fosters trip here, and it was recommended that I take his class. This list allowed me to describe "not being able to remove my skirt" from my new boat, it allows others to post messages that increase my knowledge of paddling in general, and certainly areas that concern me directly. Since my TBI, it has also provided me much needed support [in many ways!] and I do sincerely appreciate that. Thank you all....!
