The "over 40 crowd" is more succeptable to over-use injuries. I suspect the more over 40 you are, the more succeptable one is. I irrited my shoulder joint after doing 100 rolls in one session. It kept getting worse the more I paddled. I went to the Baylor College of Medicine Sports ----------- I'm not sure us old folk are supposed to be doing 100 rolls per session. Although, sometimes when I do something that hurts, I'll do it a second time just to be sure it really did hurt the way I thought?? ----------- It would be of great help to find some authority to refer to for shoulder strengthing exercises applicaple to our sport. At the time, I orded it from Amazon.com, but they later informed me that the book was no longer available. ----------- If you remember the name and/or author go to http://www.abebooks.com/ and you might be able to find the book at a member used book store. Center... they did some deep heat... and gave me exercises.. but it got worse after these sessions. I laid off paddling and exercising the shoulder for three months. I no longer have any pain...
