The direct reply I sent to the person inquiring about the above may be
of interest to other members of this list:

Northwest Passage (in which I have no financial interest) is
headquartered in Wilmette, Illinois, and offers a variety of trips and
programs, including sea kayaking activities. I have never gone on one
of NWP's kayak trips (I paddle on my own in various Great Lakes), but I
bet it has some good ones. NWP's kayaking staff are enthusiastic and
capable. For further info, surf _at_ http://www.nwpassage.com/.

Dear Sarah,

I'm sorry I don't have any information for you, but you mentioned you have
an extensive list of clubs. I'm sure such a list would be of interest to
others on this list. Won't you please post it, perhaps after you get the
information you seek? TIA!

Not sure how much help he'll be able to provide, but you might try Larry Merx
at the Great Lakes Sea Kayaking Club; they may well be able to give you some
suggestions. Larry's e-mail is <lmerx_at_nkfm.org>. The GLSK people run an
excellent symposium at Grand Marais on the UP of Michigan every summer.
