Hui Wa'a would like to invite all paddlers to Kick off the 1999 OC1 NCOCA season and participate in the first of 4 races held here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our race on Feb. 13th, will be held at Redwood City. Basically a flatwater race around Bair Island wildlife habitat. Two courses consist of a 8K and 15K, both course are around sections of Bair Island. Race divisions: Men's OC1 Long Course: Open, Masters Men's: OC1 Short Course: Open, Masters Women's OC1 Long Course: Open, Masters Women's OC1 Short Course: Open, Masters Men's & Women's Open Surfski, Long & Short course Men's & Women's Expert Surfski. Men's & Women's K1, K2, Short & Long course. Men's & Women's & Coed OC2 Long Course. Other Divisions subject to preregistration to allow for awards: Surfski double Men, Women or Coed, Sea Kayaks, Rowing craft. Registration starts _at_ 8:00 am. Race Start: 9:00 am. Cost: $10:00 per paddler, Free entry for Out of state entries and KOA members. Please email to pre register for free entry. Lunch ( until it runs out ) and awards after race.
