I received the Nichia LEDs yesterday and they are impressive! The are very bright and throw a blue/white light. They are also 5mm instead of 10mm so one could use multiples in a standard base. The light from a single LED compares favorably to a AAA mini Mag. cya! The LEDs are about $9 each.
