[Paddlewise] Speaking of Whales

As I mentioned in my "Who we are" post, I would like to do a trip this year
where I can see whales from a kayak.  This is apt to be a secondary vacation
for me this year, so it needs to be, somewhat, low budget.  That limits it
pretty much to the northeast coast of the US and, maybe, Canada.  So, Where,
With who, and When?  Anyone have advice?  (West coast advice is welcome as
well, but it is not too likely that I'll manage that this year.  But you
never know.)
