My contribution to Dave Kruger's monster 'Who We Are' thread: Male Married (DINKY) Age 30 (there ARE a lot of old farts on this list! :-)) Boats: P&H Capellas, Eskimo Gambler, rotobat, + various home made glass stuff well beyond sell by date. Where: Live north east Scotland. Mostly day and weekend SK trips + forays on local ww rivers. There is tremendous variety in sea paddling destinations around Scotland, with a marked contrast between the exposed and rocky north sea coast on which I live, and the sea lochs/mountains/islands/headlands/fast tides four hours drive away on the west coast. Enjoy trips to more distant venues. Regularly paddle with local members of the BCU set, and have nothing against them (he he I even like a few) and respect and enjoy the collective wisdom of eperience, but I'm generally not interested in certification, programs, licences, incompetence, instructors, bullshit, taking myself or anyone else too seriously. Maybe I'll mellow on that score a bit as I approach the maturity and wisdom of an old fart ;-0 Non Paddling interests: mountaineering, rock climbing, telemarking, swimming, bicycles, kites, fly fishing, Land Rovers.
