I just work very hard at staying upright..and out of the water! So far, I haven't found a hot springs pool big enough (and convenient enough) to get my kayak in... I do "do hot water" jacuzzis, though. (I did compromise the rule a couple of times to do some pool session rescue courses... that was sufficient for my purposes.) So far, my "rule" (and/or desperation) has worked perfectly.
