[Paddlewise] Re Audrey Sutherland

     I had the pleasure of hearing Audrey speak at a symposium awhile back.
There, amongst all of the trade folks pushing over-priced solutions to
every kayaking problem real or imagined, Audrey quietly was telling people
about yard-sale solutions to practical paddling situations and
demonstrating from her own gear kit which was filled with low-cost and
salvaged improvozations. It was incredibly inspiring to sit and listen to
her. She certainly gets my vote for the hall.......Oh Oh! Vote. It sounds
like politics. I better sign off before I incur another protest. One a day
is enough.....
