My computer crashed a couple of weeks ago, so I've been out of the loop - not sure if anyone recently has had a thread going on regarding the paddle float rescue. I am doing a major survey of the rescue technique, and would like to know what the "gang" out there thinks about this device. I find it works great if you fix it firmly to the rear deck as an outrigger, but it is difficult to pull free once your are all pumped out, as you have to reach back and detach the whole thing. Just grasping a paddle with float attached can be difficult trying to re board, but then there isn't the problem of trying to get it off your rear deck. Also, what are the rough water limits of this device? Any ideas or comments??
