Any thoughts? (or just > not worth thinking about<g>) The archives are automated, at least all of the traffic is still at lists.intelenet.net. You can download it in slabs, by date. Sending an email with the first line of help to majordomo_at_lists.intelenet.net should get you started. I'm assuming Jackie hasn't disabled archiving. Someone on the baidarka mailing list created a site, http://robroy.totalsports.net/baidarka, where the mailing list archives are now stored in searchable form. I point this out since the baidarka mailing list is also hosted by intelenet, so the whatever Charles figured out to do the baidarka mailing list could quickly be adapted to paddlewise. My grumble with the mailing list becoming a web site is now the spammers email address harvesters simply hit that website, instead of jumping through any hoops to join the list and then sponge addresses. kirk *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Thu Feb 25 1999 - 13:24:23 PST
