Following the amazing 'Who We Are' thread and its recent thoughts
regarding the ladies on the list made me realise that Victoria Jason,
the lady who kayaked over 7000 km through Canada's Northwest Passage
surely meets most people's image of a great contributor to kayaking
(compare her to her paddling partner Starkel during part of the trip and
it's easy to see why I say this).
For those who have read Victoria's book 'Kabloona in a Yellow Kayak' you
may be happy to learn she is well into a sequel which is about training
a whole village of Inuit to paddle again in modern kayaks. Truely an
amazing lady....and one of the reasons I now paddle a yellow kayak too!
