The newer Jubilee is a little more stable and has more buoyancy in the bow producing a dryer ride with more foot room! The keyhole cockpit is a BIG plus and the new skeg system is a must have. It is marginally slower. My other instructor friend with the Sirius is switching to a Nordkapp. There is no better rough water boat. -----Original Message----- From: Robert C. Bob: How would you compare the Jubilee to the Nordkapp Explorer? I've paddled the Explorer and found it pretty comfortable. The salesman was tellling me ..."hey It took me a year to learn to paddle it"...and tried to talk me out of the jubilee and into the Explorer. I told him, I hoped I had a year left. I'm looking for a good rough water boat and an expedition boat.
