Tom, I wanted to get out on the south side of Lopez last year, had to cancel the trip at the last minute due to a corrupted "girlfriend configuration" file. I hadn't thought of the route you describe. What do you do? Start right at the turn to ebb from Anacortes and catch the beginning of the flood into Cattle Pass? I'd love to do this trip!
