Open Trip Invitation to Experienced Touring Kayakers: We will circumnavigate Isla Angel de la Guarda, off Bahia de los Angeles, Baja. Departure from northern California on March 25, 1999. Return about April 5, 1999. Isla Angel de la Guarda is Mexico's second largest island. Trip distance is 120NM, about a week on the water. The island is remote and beautiful. Currently there are four people going. A double kayak is welcome. There is a 12-15 NM crossing. Trip members will paddle 18-25 NM per day. I have made the trip before. We can expect wind on the return crossing. This is the second and last announcement. WANNA GO?
