I've got the Standard HX 350S and am very pleased with it so far. It is a bit larger and heavier than others, but appears to be well built and very sturdy. According to the owners guide, it weighs exactly 1.0 lb. Ralph speculated that it displayed "Marine Operator" and other textual messages when on one of the predefined channels. The 350 only does this for channel 9 and channel 16.
