[Paddlewise] Fw: Ideal Touring Paddling Jacket

I prefer an anorak - no leakage at the lower zipper, marsupial pocket for
food etc enroute. A Caguole (sp?) is even better so you can pull it over
your knees on a windy beach or use for protection (sleeping in conjunction
with space blanket from survival pack) when separated from boat.
The hood might scoop water in a roll but much more effective than a hat for
protection from wind and spray. Mine has a bill. A hat would be fine,
especially a S'Wester.
