I have this purple, floppy, waterproof thing made by OR that has a chin
string/strap. I wear it almost exclusively to keep the sun out of my eyes
and the rain and sun off of my neck.

Sometimes I wear a fleece hat that kinda looks like one of those knit sailor
caps. It pulls down pretty tight, but probably wouldn't survive a roll. It
didn't survive my skiing accident last month and I had to buy another one.
Yup, the new one's purple.

BTW, I recently hear or read that sun glare can contribute to cataracts.
Anyone have any information on this?
