Cook Custom Sewing in Lino Lakes MN makes a 10x10 tarp that fits inside a 1
quart container. I have used it in the BWCA and it worked great to keep the
rain off. I rig it as taught by Cliff Jacobson (sp). Tieing one side to a
streteched line and using a pole or paddle in the center to avoid water
pocketing. CCS also makes a tarp in multiple bright colors that are
intended to make the tarp visible when you are returning to camp and to
provide a psycological boost to the inhabitants on a grey and pissy day,
besides that its fun.

On the sandpaper, I used 220 grit self adhesive sand paper with the grit
towards the clip. I doubt if it matters which direction you put the grit,
it was easier to fasten the paper to the rod than the reverse.

I have a mesh decoy bag with shoulder straps that I use to store and
transport kayaking gear. It stuffs down in odd corners, I can see if
anything is still in the bag and it does not trap sand. Oh yes it was
cheap, under $20 at a sporting goods store.

REI and Campmor sell rollup tables. When I saw one used it was transported
in a long dry bag on the rear deck of a kayak. The chairs we used were
Crazy Creek chairs, comfortable but a bit low to the ground for old bones.
