RE: [Paddlewise] Request for PFD recommendations

I've tried on the Lotus Locean and Strait jacket. Both seemed comfortable
and full of bells and whistles. I'm really barrel-chested (44" chest, 34"

I recently purchased the Lotus Rio Grande.  If I remember correctly, the Rio
Grande, a white water jacket, was upgraded with some doodads to become the
Strait Jacket.  Since I didn't really want the extra stuff and didn't want
to spend the extra $20+, I went with the Rio Grande.  I also got it on sale
for $20 off.

I'm also a 44" (ain't gonna talk none about the waist) and have plenty of
play in the straps.

There is a new (to me) Lotus Touring pfd called Locean
(http://www.lotusdesigns.com/tour.html) for women.  This is an upgrade from
the Lola.
