Hello all, I'm new on the list, but I hope you all don't mind me jumping in. Regarding hats, particularly Bob. I found a good Tilley-style hat at a local Army-Navy surplus store. It's probably more a Marine recon patrol style then Tilley, but the it's the same basic shape. I've seen the Ultimate Hat and it seemed kind of heavy for Florida (I'm in Orlando) to me. I've been using the Army-Navy hat for a couple of months and find it perfect (although now that I think of it, I haven't checked to see if it floats). You can pick one up though for about 20% the price. _And_ you'll have more than three different types of camo to choose from. Being a rather traiditional guy, I went for the straight beige.
