First, check with Anne & Chris at Coastal Expeditions (843-884-7684) and get a copy of their map. Then, you've got a lot of choices: Put in at Pinckneyville and paddle to Capers Island Wildlife Sanctuary and vist the alligators. Put in at Huger Landing at high tide and ride the Cooper down past 18th century dikes and watergates and old rice fields to the 1763 chapel. Then ride the tide back up. Go surfing at Folly Beach. Paddle from Remle Point to Shem Creek past the USS Yorktown. Enjoy.
