Yes, a waterproof zipper costs and adds to the $$$ you pay.  But it is
worthwhile.  The best of the bags in my opinion are those by Long Haul
Products, which is an off shoot of the Klepper Repair Service.

The bags are intended for use as cockpit bags inside Kleppers and other
foldables.  There are grommets in each corner as well as webbing straps
in the top two corners with snap buckles.  It is made of heavy duty
hypalon, arguably the strongest of materials better than anything nylon
that is coated.  It holds an amazing amount.  I use mine mainly in my
K-light and Nautiraid single between my legs as I do not like having
anything beyond pump and paddlefloat on deck.  But I do move it to the
deck if loaded with camping gear and things in the cockpit.  Costs
